What is the Ford Mobility Program?
The 2026 Ford Mobility Program is a national initiative that provides a reimbursement of up to $1,000 toward the cost of installing adaptive driving aids or mobility assistance equipment. We are pleased to announce that this program has officially been extended until June 30, 2026.
The program serves a dual purpose: it offers financial relief to individual customers while ensuring that all vehicle modifications meet the highest safety standards. All modifications must be carried out in a manner that maintains the structural integrity and safety originally designed into every Ford vehicle. By adhering to these strict guidelines, we ensure your vehicle remains compliant with all Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Standards.
Eligible Adaptive Equipment
The program covers a wide range of modifications designed to improve accessibility and ease of use. Eligible equipment includes, but is not limited to:
Wheelchair & Scooter Lifts: Both platform and hoist-style lifts for internal or external storage.
Driving Controls: Manual or power-assisted hand controls for gas, brake, and steering functions.
Power-Assisted Seats: Rotating or lowering seats to allow for easier entrance and exit.
Door Openers: Automatic or power-assisted systems for sliding or swing doors.
Steering Devices: Spinner knobs, foot steering, and other specialized steering aids.
Wheelchair Restraints: Securement systems to keep passengers and chairs safe during transit.

Vehicle Eligibility: 2024 - 2027 Models
West Coast Ford offers an extensive lineup of vehicles eligible for this program. Whether you need the space of a Transit or the capability of a Super Duty, there is a Ford for you.
2026 & 2027 Models: The latest 2026 models including the F-150 Gas, F-150 Super Crew 4X4 (HEV), Mustang Mach-E, Explorer, Maverick, and Bronco Sport are all eligible. Early 2027 models will be added as they are introduced.
2025 Models: A wide range of 2025 models remain eligible, including the Escape, Corsair, Navigator, and Nautilus.
2024 Models: Certain 2024 models, such as the Bronco (excluding specialized trims like the Raptor or Heritage), are still eligible for the program benefits.
Chassis & Specialty Units: Chassis Cabs, Cutaways, and Stripped Chassis vehicles are also eligible for the program, making them ideal for more significant structural conversions.
Exclusions: Please note that high-performance off-road models such as the F-150 Raptor, Bronco Raptor, and Ranger Raptor are not eligible for the Mobility Program.

Navigating the program at West Coast Ford is straightforward. Follow these steps to ensure you receive your reimbursement:
Select & Purchase: Visit us at our Lougheed Highway location to choose an eligible vehicle. The vehicle must be registered in the individual customer’s name only; claims made under company names will be rejected.
Adapt Your Vehicle: Your vehicle modifications must be completed within six months of the delivery date. To ensure eligibility, all equipment must be installed by a Ford Pro Upfitter Qualified participant (formerly known as QVM).
Claim Your Rebate: Once the installation is complete, submit your claim. You have up to 12 months from the date of vehicle delivery to submit your final paperwork through West Coast Ford. You will need a record of the installation invoice, the work order, and a completed Safety Compliance Certification Form.
